Nigerian celebrities and fans of veteran actor and former politician, Richard Mofe Damijo, better known as RMD, have taken to social media to hail him over his choice of wearing earrings.
The actor and father of two revealed that he had wanted to wear earrings since he was 50 but couldn’t because he was a serving commissioner as at then.
Revealing he’s turning 60 soon, RMD shared photos of his lopes with beautiful earrings and wrote,
“I’ve always wanted to wear an earring for some time now. I personally think they are so cool if you find the right one. When I was turning 50, I had threatened to wear one, but I wasn’t too sure how the people of Delta state would feel about an earring wearing commissioner. 10 years later I still want to wear it. I will. I will be 60 in a few weeks, and I have grown wings. I’m in my house if you have a problem you know where to find me.”
Actress Uche Jombo hailed him by writing, ‘Looks good on you bros wear it! Nothing go happen”
Dele Momodu reminded him that the world is a free place and he’s free to do what he likes, “ It is a free world o jare my own RMD BABA…”
Advising him to ignore trolls, Falz wrote, “Baba wear am abeg no mind them!”
