Trinidadian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty better known as Nikki Minaj has debunked rumours of her taking a break from music.
This comes after she responded to reports making rounds on social media.
The speculation began with a tweet from an X account, @NMCaviar, which claimed that Nicki Minaj announced a sabbatical, stating, “Nicki Minaj announces she’s going on a hiatus.”
However, the rapper based in America quickly set the record straight, she wrote:
“Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus.”

This isn’t the first time Nicki Minaj has hinted at stepping back; she previously announced her retirement in December 2019, shortly after marrying Kenneth Petty, expressing a wish to focus on family.
A year later, in September 2020, she welcomed her son, embracing a new chapter in her personal life.
Since then, Minaj has made a powerful comeback, diving back into the music scene and touring, much to the excitement of her fans.
