Ned Nwoko releases official statement following rumors of welcoming a baby with Chika Ike

Ned Nwoko has responded to rumors claiming he welcomed a child with Chika Ike, a Nollywood actress and colleague of his wife, Regina Daniels.

Glamsquad reported that blogger Gistlover had alleged that Chika Ike welcomed a child with Ned Nwoko, prompting Regina Daniels to deactivate her Instagram page.

However, the senator swiftly debunked the claims on his Instagram page, stating that as a public figure married to an actress, it’s not uncommon for bloggers to fabricate stories for attention. He dismissed the rumors of fathering a child with Chika Ike or planning to marry her as completely baseless and fueled by malicious speculation.

He also dismissed reports claiming he made statements about music icon 2Baba and his polygamous lifestyle.

According to his PR team, the senator is currently on a national assignment, focused on delivering his political mandate, and has no time for distractions. They emphasized that his office is open for journalists to verify information and cautioned media practitioners about the consequences of spreading false news.

Ned urged the public to ignore the rumors and rely only on official statements from his office.
