Naira redesign: The Senate has become the spokesperson of the poor because it affects them – Singer Paul Okoye

Singer Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy has taken on the Nigerian Senate for requesting an extension of the deadline for exchanging the redesigned Naira notes, glamsquad reports.

Concerned about the scarcity of the newly redesigned notes for ordinary Nigerians, the Senate recently requested that the deadline for exchanging Naira notes be extended to June 2023.

 

Paul stated this morning on his Instagram page that lawmakers are now speaking up because this particular policy affects them and the election. He went on to ask where the lawmakers were during the pandemic when palliatives were hidden. He went on to say that God is “assisting Nigerians in avoiding vote buying.”
