N700k in the new currency is now being sold for N1 million by money changers – Whitemoney

Whitemoney, the Big Brother Naija 2021 winner, has shared his experience trying to obtain the new Naira notes after the Central Bank of Nigeria set a deadline, glamsquad reports.

The reality show star claimed in an Instagram video that the new notes are not available in banks, but he was surprised to see large sums of them with money changers at an event he attended.

Whitemoney also claimed that N700,000 in the new currency is now selling for N1 million.
