Music Video: Davido reveals he paid TG Omori N100m

Famous Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed he paid music video director, TG Omori a whooping N100 million to shoot the video of a record off his fourth studio album ‘Timeless,’ glamsquad reports

The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ singer revealed this in a recent interview with Lagos’ Beats FM.

According to him, the video is the most expensive in Nigerian music industry history.


“I’m excited about the record,” Davido said. We filmed the video with TG. And I’m proud to say that it’s Nigeria’s first N100m video.

“The video took about six days to shoot.” And I came to get three. He shot the remaining three days. The video served as a plot. “Shoutout to him, he’s incredible,” he added.

On March 31, 2023, the singer released ‘Timeless,’ his long-awaited and highly anticipated album.

Remember that TG Omori recently came under fire for bragging about being the biggest music director in the country.

Boy Director, as he is affectionately known, claims to be friends with most Nigerian music video directors and admits that they are all extremely talented, but he maintains that none of them are better than him.
