Mohbad: Naira Marley and Sam Larry remanded in Police custody to aid investigation

A Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos State has issued an order for singer,  Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Samson Erinfolami Balogun, better known as Sam Larry, to be remanded in police custody.

According to reports, the Lagos State Police Command has submitted a formal application to the court, requesting a 30-day remand of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

This request stems from the ongoing investigation into the untimely demise of singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, which has garnered significant attention and controversy.

In response to the application, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun has issued a ruling, directing the remand of both individuals for a shorter period of 21 days.

This development comes shortly after Naira Marley, the CEO of Marlian Record Label, disclosed that he has returned to Lagos, to assist the Police in their investigation.

Mohbad had previously alleged mistreatment and instances of violence in various videos, pointing fingers at members of Marlian Music and some associates within the label.
