Nigerian award-winning actor and filmmaker, Ibrahim Chatta, recently shed light on some of the challenges of working in the film industry, particularly in his film village situated in Oyo State.
The expansive 74-acre film village features traditional houses adorned with drawings that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people. It also includes a stable for horses and other animals. In a video, Ibrahim revealed that he invested as much as N1.4 billion to establish this magnificent property, emphasizing that the entire amount was funded without any grants or loans.
Chatta also mentioned that it took him approximately four years to finish the project because he lacked the necessary capital.
