Nollywood actor Mercy Aigbe has lamented about the struggles of being a Muslim wife during Ramadan (fasting).
The thespian is the second wife of popular businessman Kazeem Adeoti. She lamented having to wake up in the early morning hours to prepare fasting meals (Sahur).
Aigbe lamented through a picture post of her asleep. She noted that she finds it hard to wake up for early morning prayers. However, Aigbe admitted that she is beginning to cope with the fasting routine.
She said:
“So all of you saying my hubby is calm, he is calm, can y’all see what he did to me this early morning. Waking up for Sari is not easy!!!! I am coping very well with fasting but you see that waking up to chop early momo, is a struggle. Sleep just won’t leave me alone!”
She further begged God to accept prayers and forgive sins committed:
“May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices as an act of Ibadan, forgive all our sins, answer all our rosters, continue to bless us and reward us with good deeds. Meanwhile @kazimadeoti 1 – 0 first to do no dey pain…wait for my retaliation.”
The actor’s husband also shared the picture of the thespian falling asleep during prayers. Reacting to the post, Mercy Aigbe vowed jokingly to deal with him and get her revenge.
