Menswear Brand Onwuchekwa’s latest collection is inspired by the power behind names.
According to the design inspiration brief we received, “When a child is born he or she is like a blank canvas and the first stroke of paint is the name they are given. This sets the tone or determines how their journey goes, from the moment the child is able to say their NAME. “
“The bold colours symbolizes the names and how they become the painters brush on the canvas of our lives. The white and black stripes are indicative to the roads and pathways; the tribal prints to signify different ethnicities. All of these ideas carefully crafted to make each design simple but really memorable.”
Fabrics used include Silks, Crepes, Damask, Mesh, cotton and Cashmere.
