Despite the pandemic, Megan Thee Stallion has had a groundbreaking year. Recently dropping her debut album, “Good News,” the Houston rapper has scored Grammy nominations, performed in the digital award-show space, and been a public voice for Black women in 2020.
As the year ends and as we collectively take a break, Megan is doing the same. On Instagram this week, the “Body” performer showed off a healthy silk press.
Usually, the rapper’s tried and true beauty look is ultra glam including a beat face and fun wig however, every hot girl needs a little time to let her hair breathe.
As most know, when wearing wigs your hair stays in protective styles like braids or twist. This allows for the hair to grow and limits any damage. “Kellon and I are about to see how healthy and long we can get my hair,” Megan wrote under her Instagram post.
She also asked her followers to drop Black owned hair brands to help with her natural hair journey.
While wigs stand as a good transitional piece for hair growth, there’s nothing like letting your natural hair out.
