CAREER

He tried to dance and do comedy sketches online until his camera and laptop were stolen and he decided to try something else. Just for fun and laughs, on June 21, 2018, he recreated a photo of Wizkid in a D&G mask (picture below) and shared it online.

The video went viral instantly and Wizkid shared the video as well. Since then, he hasn’t stopped remaking funny pictures of celebrities with nylons, plastic bottles, animals and sometimes noodles. His photos caught the attention of many celebrities like Cardi B, Wizkid and others. It was also recognized by BBC Africa. According to him, his mother also supports him from the beginning, while his father does not support him and criticizes the half-naked photos he shares online. Anti-fans argued that Funny Toheeb copied Mummy Ndioha, another Instagram celebrity noticed for duplicating celebrity styles.
