Lota was born in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria, but grew up mainly in the city of Benin. Lota is the last of her parents’ four children. She studied agricultural economics and extension at the University of Benin and later served at the Royal Arts Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Nigerian actress is known as Lota Chukwu. She gained popularity after starring in the popular Nigerian TV series Jenifa’s Diary opposite Funke Akindele, Juliana Olayode, Falz, where she played the role of “Kiki”, a friend of the main character Jenifa. She is also passionate about yoga and fitness.
CAREER
Before acting, Lota was a model and competed in 2011, the Most Beautiful Girl from Nigeria, representing Yobe State. She started acting in 2011, but gained popularity after appearing in Jenifa’s diary and playing the role of Kiki. She has also starred in such films because the Royal Hibiscus Hotel, Falling, Fine Girl, The Arbitration, Dognapped.

Lota was featured as the main character in Reminisce’s Ponmile video, as were us in Aramid’s Why So Serious video.
