Falalu Abubakar Dorayi, popularly recognized as Falalu Dorayi was born in January 4, 1977. He is a Nigerian film director, screenwriter, actor and distributor through his company (Dorayi Films). He is widely respected as one of the most prosperous and critically esteemed filmmakers in the Kannywood film industry today.
The actor studied in Kano. He studied the Professional Diploma in Mass Communication at Bayero University in Kano from 2002 to 2003 and then attended Maitama Sule University in Kano, where he studied the Professional Diploma in Film and Television Production from 2016 to 17. He also completed a program in Film and Television. film training at the Asian Film Academy. And television, Noida in India.
CAREER
The actor is best known in Kannywood for his creative approach to filmmaking. He is known for making popular films such as Uwargida Sakna, Amaliya, Mela, Sayyada, Zarar Bunu, Namamajo, Ahlul Kitab, Karen Bans, Al-Qibla and There’s A Way. Through Dorayi Films, Falalu has produced films including Rai Dai Basaja Basaja Takun Farko Basaja Takun Karshe Basaja Gidan Yari. The Baja series were Dorayi’s highest-grossing films as they were his company’s best-selling films of all time.
His popularity was due to the making of Hausa and English films, respectively. In 2015, Dorayi gained fame with the release of his biggest film, the Baja series. He made his directorial debut on these series and made him one of the best directors of all time.
