DJ Jimmy Jatt is a famous Nigerian disc jockey. He is considered one of the most respected DJs in the country. CAREER


Music has always been his passion. Very young, he is enchanted by the vibes of blues, jazz, disco, soul, etc. Later, he preferred hip hop, which determined his future profession. He started his musical career as a rapper with the artistic name of Master J.

 

He released several songs and demos, which did not bring the desired result and cooperation with record labels. With the help of his brothers and sisters, he joined the disk jockey. He created a studio in honor of his older brothers who supported him throughout his career.

His stage name comes from their names: Jimmy, Amu, T,unde, and Tayo (JATT). JATT Studios was located on Odo Street, a strategic location. This helped him attract his core audience and put his DJ hip-hop hop talents in the spotlight of the Nigerian entertainment industry. The Road Block Street Carnival was Jimmy’s first hit, taking him a huge step forward as a DJ.
