Media celebrity, Maria Okan recounts how she discovered she was going to raise her daughter alone

Maria Okan, a media personality, took to social media to address rumors about her daughter while praising herself for being able to care for her child alone, glamsquad reports

Three years ago, the OAP gave birth to a baby girl, whom she named Asaiah Monifé Maria Okanrende in honor of her rumored ex, rapper Olamide.

 

According to some sources, Olamide allegedly gave Maria money to terminate the pregnancy after she informed him because he didn’t want to cause problems with his partner, Adebukunmi.

On Monday, September 5, Maria took to Twitter to clear the air, claiming that no one gave her money to obtain an abortion. She penned;

 

“All these years, your trolling comments, death threats, and insults have meant nothing lol. We’re doing well, we’re healthy, we’re making money, and we’re on the rise.

For the record, no one ever gave me money for an abortion. As a mother, you will understand how insulting this is and has been when you carry a child and deliver her by the Grace of God.

I chose to focus on delivering my child at the time because I had a high-risk pregnancy and a fibroid that practically exploded a few months in. But now that she’s safe and sound, there’s no need to worry. We give thanks to God.”

She also posted a video in which she admitted to being solely responsible for Monife’s upkeep. Maria stated that she discovered she would be raising her child alone halfway through her high-risk pregnancy. She stated that she moved to the United Kingdom, began her career from scratch, and is now a producer and presenter.
