As celebrities continue to reflect on the past year and speak positivity into the New Year 2024, Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Remmy Njoku has shared the testimony of how she escaped death.
The mother of three revealed on her Instagram page that a few hours into 2024, she almost didn’t make it because she was involved in a major accident.
She expressed disbelief at still not being able to comprehend how she managed to escape the accident. However, she believes it happened because it wasn’t her time.
Expressing gratitude to her Maker, Mary revealed her New Year resolution as she promised to slow down and live life every day as if it were going to be her last. The reason is that one day she would be dead as life is too short to be anything but happy.
With gratitude towards her Creator, Mary shared her New Year resolution, vowing to embrace a slower pace and approach each day as if it were her last. Her motivation stems from the awareness that one day she will no longer be alive, recognizing that life is too brief to dwell on anything but happiness.
“Few hours to 2024. I almost didn’t make it. What could have been a major accident averted?
Still don’t know how I escaped it. But I did. It wasn’t my time. So ALMOST doesn’t count.
It’s 2024, and I am still here, thankful for Life. I will slow down and love life every day as if it were going to be my last. Cos one day, it will be. Just like 31st December, 2023.
Life is too short to be anything but happy. Grateful.
If it’s not time, it’s NOT your time! 2023 was NOT my TIME”.
