Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo better known as Omoborty has finally revealed why she walked away from the Yoruba movie industry.
According to the curvy actress, she was blacklisted by marketers after refusing their advances. She claimed they instructed producers to stop casting her and even went as far as erasing her from a movie poster despite her playing the lead role.
Biodun questioned how much of their wickedness she should reveal, emphasizing the immense damage they did to her career, which ultimately pushed her out of the industry. She admitted that the experience made her despise a profession she once loved so much that she started rejecting roles.
“Marketers were the reason I left the movie industry after blácklisting me for refusing to remove my panties. They even told producers to stop featuring me in movies and went as far as removing my head from the poster of a film where I played the lead role. How many of their w!cked actions should I even talk about? They did so much damage to my career then that l eventually got tired of acting and walked away by myself. I developed so much h@tred for a job I once had so much passion for that I began to turn jobs down”.
