Loved ones of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss gather for small funeral 3 weeks after his passing

On December 13, the adored dancer and DJ for the Ellen DeGeneres Show passed away suddenly at age 40.

PEOPLE has confirmed that Stephen “tWitch” Boss is being laid to rest.

According to a source, the So You Think You Can Dance contestant and adored DJ-turned-producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show will be remembered at a small family funeral.

Boss, who was 40 years old, committed suicide on December 13. His wife Allison Holker Boss confirmed his passing the following day in a statement to PEOPLE.

In her statement, Alison, 34, discussed her husband’s character and the legacy he has left behind.

“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.

He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans,” she said.

In addition to Allison, Boss is survived by their children Zaia, 3, Maddox, 6, and Weslie, 14.
