Lookbook: Stephane Rolland Paris Haute Couture Week Spring Summer 2023

Stephane Rolland Paris Haute Couture Week Spring Summer 2023 Collection was one of the best displayed with epic Jewelry choice and deep V dresses. With a touch of dark make-up and six inches heels, the models looked divine.

An egg-shaped sculpture made of white jersey was perched above the left shoulder of the asymmetrical, long garment in white iridescent voile that served as the first appearance.

The black gazar fabric used to create the small “sambadrome” dress flowed in waves around the waist and chest, swelled out over one shoulder, and curved around the back like a flower.

Several innovative techniques are used on the dresses in solid and lacquered forms. All of it is three dimensional and incredibly sturdy.

The conquistadors and their gold and other valuables are mentioned in the third section, which revisits more of Brazil’s past. Rolland was impressed by the Bahia church’s opulence as well.

The long, form-fitting dark brown dress was made of jersey and gazar and featured graphic embroidery made of white jersey and lacquer.

The last outfit was a voluminous bridal dress made of golden cloqué lamé that had golden arching sculptures adorning the front, bottom, and hood. Rolland was inspired to create the outfit by the sculpture of the gilded Madonna known as Our Lady of Aparecida.
