The models began their descent from the top floor, weaving through open rooms and down staircases adorned with Catherine Martin-designed Art Nouveau-patterned carpets, finally reaching the ground floor. With the audience packed tightly within the space, the structure felt precarious—delicate, almost fragile—though thankfully not on the verge of collapse. “Think club, work in progress, construction, architecture,” reflected Simons.

The soundtrack echoed this sense of fluidity and experimentation, shifting unpredictably between snippets of Rossini, Nyman, and Puccini interspersed with jagged electronica. A soothing female voice chanted, “Technology, technology, technology,” just before the models began their walk.

The collection mirrored the eclectic soundtrack: a daring fusion of disparate elements drawn from various genres to create an audaciously unconventional mix. “We don’t want to limit ourselves,” Simons remarked. The looks combined previously seen Prada pieces with new elements, blending them into ensembles anchored by cowboy boots with scuffed toes. Pajama pants in plain or striped cotton, as well as floral ’70s-inspired prints, were paired with queasy-hued plaids, tailored coats, crumpled silk-satin pants in vibrant colors, Western-inspired crewneck knits, high-shine down jackets, and ivory silk eveningwear.

Leather suits patched together with a rugged aesthetic stood alongside gentlemanly outerwear, often finished with rough-cut shearling collars. Accessories included enamel and metal basketballs and baseballs transformed into necklaces, earrings, or amulets hanging like totems from knitwear, adding a playful yet bold edge.
