The revival of the brand included the launch of the “In Women We Trust” campaign, which revitalized its essence by showcasing multiple generations of women as storytellers. Iconic figures such as Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam, Karlie Kloss, and Liya Kebede shared their personal connections to Donna Karan, rekindling the label’s legacy. The campaign created a moment of cultural resonance, reaffirming Karan’s enduring influence on modern fashion.

While many contemporary designers emphasize the importance of effortless wardrobing, this concept originates from Karan’s revolutionary seven easy pieces formula, which redefined dressing for women. Now, a year after its revival, the brand unveils its second spring collection, staying true to its roots while embracing a modern perspective.

Previously known for its gray and black palette, the spring 2025 lineup introduces a lighter aesthetic with shades of flesh, pure white, hazelnut, and cloudy gray, all accented by gold hardware inspired by the Robert Lee Morris designs Karan famously incorporated into her work. The collection also reflects Karan’s love for travel, as shared by the in-house design team.

Fabrication and texture were thoughtfully considered this season, featuring materials such as crinkled nylon, hammered satins, knit jersey, woven crepe, chiffon, georgette, cashmere, cotton, and linen.

Rather than chasing fleeting trends, the design team has focused on solving the challenges of dressing women with dynamic, urban lifestyles, offering designs that feel luxurious yet practical. “It’s about attainable luxury,” a design team member explained during an exclusive preview of the collection.

With prices under $1,000, and many pieces ranging from $400 to $600, the collection is designed to appeal to a broad customer base, filling a gap in the market. Additionally, spring 2025 will mark an expansion of the brand’s retail distribution, making it more accessible to shoppers.
