The Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2025 Menswear Collection presents a modern and sophisticated take on traditional Italian craftsmanship and style. Inspired by the colorful landscapes of Sicily, the collection incorporates vibrant prints, bold patterns, and luxurious fabrics to create a fresh and contemporary aesthetic.

The first looks in the collection featured boxy, short-sleeved shirts and blousons that were made entirely of crocheted open-work natural raffia or soft leather that mimicked the texture of woven straw. The pieces were toughened up with contrasting trimmings and worn over loose-fitting, high-waisted pants that were pin-tucked and easelessly rolled up at the ankles. The show’s overall theme was ease, which alluded to the carefree attitude Italians are able to retain in both happy and difficult situations as well as their casual, almost blasé attitude toward the rich beauty of their country.
Amphora trousers were tucked in summery striped polo shirts, sleeveless sweaters, or knitted waistcoats. The only striking ornamental elements in an otherwise well-curated, energetic, yet carefree collection were the coral embroidery accents; it was fuss-free and made no allowances for pyrotechnics. It served as a simple reminder of Stefano and Domenico’s skill levels.
