Numerous frills adorned asymmetrical gowns, sheer slip skirts, and even the rear of an amazing fitted black satin jacket worn with a suit. Gathers, pleats, and even sculpted flowers adorned lace and mesh shell tops; the sleeves of basic sweatshirts billowed chiffon; clunky mesh boots were paired with ruffly lace socks (the first from the designer’s own in-house brand). There was a certain softness to even the less overtly feminine pieces—take the checkered tweed jacket worn with a washed striped button-down shirt and a bouncy little doughnut-shaped miniskirt.
Prints were delivered two ways—in levels of brightly saturated color or washed as if they’d been picked up at the beach after being in the sun and the salt water, banging against the rocks for several weeks. Although the color palette was largely made up of pastels, it was grounded by a series of all-black looks at the end, as well as bold turquoise.
Overall, the Spring 2025 Ready-To-Wear Collection not only represents the pinnacle of eco-conscious fashion but also sets a new standard for creativity and innovation in the industry.
