Christian Siriano Spring Summer 2023 RTW Collection gave life to the stage the moment models come down flight of stars to grace audience with their presence.

Janet Jackson was among the guests at Elizabeth Taylor’s former townhouse in Midtown as she watched models like Karen Elson make their way down the elaborate spiral staircase while wearing XXL wide-brimmed hats and outfits with long trains.
One of the first fashion houses to embrace this notion of glitz after the pandemic began was Siriano. As important a theme in his work as size inclusion and ball skirts is nostalgia.
But this season, the setting served to emphasize this point. Siriano was considering the icons of Old Hollywood.
He fulfilled the demands of the populace. Siriano’s collection of custom suits, which are now available in sizes up to 32, opened the show.
One in slate gray with a broad belt that cinched the waist was very lovely. A blood red evening gown with a puffy peplum (a Siriano trademark) and a sheer torso and skirt, as well as a headpiece that complemented the waist details, brought the drama in full force.
It’s difficult to picture Marilyn Monroe or Marlene Dietrich wearing it, yet it is completely consistent with the designer’s body of work.
