Look of the Day: Duchess Of Sussex Nails Lovely Turquoise Victoria Beckham Piece

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to London to complete their final round of royal duties after stepping down as senior members of the royal family – and both looked thrilled to be back in action on 5 March, despite a heavy dose of British weather.

Attending the Endeavour Fund Awards, the couple dazzled despite the rain, with the Duchess opting for a form-fitting crepe turquoise dress by Victoria Beckham with a zip-up back, a Stella McCartney clutch and navy suede Manolo Blahnik pumps.

She wore her hair pulled back into a sleek, low pony-tail, with a slick of dark plum lipstick, beaming for the cameras as she entered Mansion House on the arm of Prince Harry.

The Endeavour Fund is a cause close to Harry’s heart. Established in 2012, the organisation supports wounded, injured and sick serving military servicepeople and veterans, encouraging them to use sport and adventurous challenges to “reignite their fighting spirit,” as Harry has put it in the past.

The Duke and Duchess were thrilled to witness a surprise engagement during the course of the evening.

Meghan was her typical animated self during the awards ceremony, engaging with the remarkable stories of members of the Armed Forces Community who have gone above and beyond in their ambitions to use sport and adventurous challenge as part of their rehabilitation.

“It’s very nice to be back,” she told the audience. “It’s the third year that I’ve had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here, and as you all know – I can feel – it is the most inspiring space.”

In a highlight of the evening, the couple were thrilled to witness Recognising Achievement award winner Danny Holland make a surprise proposal to his partner on bended knee after having accepted his award.
