Peter Pilotto is easily one of my London Fashion Week favourites. It is always intriguing season after season to see what the designer has done with his mastery of prints and he never dissapoints. This SS18 season, peter pilotto’s work felt a little more bohemian inspired. There was a biting focus on comfort with light cottons, flowly silks and chiffon dominating the collections. If that’s not convincing enough the boots over flowy maxi dresses and skirts and chunky neckpieces ought to do the trick. I don’t remeber a time I was this excited to get the cold shoulder treatment. I absolutely love the barrage of cold shoulder, off the shoulder and every other shoulder inbetween the designer was serving up. It was a sexy twist to all that bohemian inspiration. I’ll admit though, a bohemian feel wasn’t the only thing Peter Pilotto had up his sleeves. I was getting some major urban vibes with bralettes, tracksuits and halfway buttoned baggy shirts on mini skirts. The collection was definitely utilitarian and fun, not to mention, who wouldn’t love a merging of spring/summertime bohemian flare and urban feels.
