Embattled Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky, has vowed never to accept any award or recognition designed for females.
Bobrisky fondly called the mummy of Lagos took to his Instagram page to the genesis of his current predicament. He noted that his problems started after he received an award from actress, Eniola Ajao.
Glamsquad recalls that Bobrisky received the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere in March 2024.
Shortly after, Bobrisky was arrested by the EFCC for naira abuse at the award ceremony, and was sentenced to six months jail.
Shortly after his jail term, a leaked audio of the crossdresser claiming to have bribed EFCC officials to evade money laundering charges against him, and serving his sentence in a luxury apartment, surfaced on the internet.
The controversies generated uproar on social media with many noting that Bobrisky was simply used as a scape goat.
After he was rearrested twice, detained and allegedly injured, Bobrisky left Nigeria. Reflecting on his problems, he wrote,
“My problem started when I collected the best dressed female award with N1 million prize.
“For my life, if I see an award for best dressed female I go disappear from that location ASAP. Everyone knows the truth that I am a baddie with class, you wanna compete with me? Your mummy never!!!! But when the problem wan too much make I run.”
Reacting to his post, a social media user identified as Official Fitness suggested that Bobrisky lied about receiving one million Naira.
Bobrisky replied staying;
“official_fineness i know it hurt for someone like bob to make ur type look like a man cos she knows d game I will advice you instead of hurting accept that i look way prettier than you and yes 1million came with that tittle best dressed. Choke on that.”
