Lionel Messi threatened by Gunmen after attack on shop owned by wife’s Family

After attacking a supermarket in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina, in the early hours of Thursday, March 2, unidentified gunmen left a threatening note for football star Lionel Messi, glamsquad reports

According to reports from Argentina, 14 shots were fired at the doors of the food store “Unico” in Rosario before two suspects fled on a motorcycle.

The shop is owned by Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, who grew up in Rosario.

 

The attack, which caused significant damage to the shop, left no one injured.

However, a piece of cardboard with the message “Messi, we are waiting for you” was left at the scene. Javkin is a drug trafficker. He is not going to take care of you.”

Rosario’s mayor is Pablo Javkin.

 

Following the attack on Thursday, Javkin demanded that more resources be allocated to Rosario to help protect and serve its residents.

“Rosario is only 300 kilometers [from Buenos Aires] away. We want to use all of Argentina’s anti-crime resources to protect this city that gives the country glory and science, countryside and art, federalism and union.”
