Morghan Medlock claimed in her complaint against the rapper that her dismissal was unfair and retaliatory, despite the fact that she was subjected to numerous illegal activities while working for him.

Medlock stated that she went to Vegas with the rapper for Memorial Day weekend, but then left to rescue her ailing son.

The Chef, who revealed that she has been cooking Lil Wayne’s supper for two years, stated in the lawsuit that she was told of a head injury incurred by her 10-year-old son that required hospitalization.

She claimed she needed to get back to Los Angeles right now, but Wayne and company were delaying the travel back by smoking on the plane.

Instead of waiting for them to get their act together, Medlock claims she took a separate flight out of there and informed Wayne’s assistant of the issue, assuming they’d understand. However, she was sacked.

Medlock claims that when she left, Wayne’s team kept asking her whether she was leaving, to which she clearly replied, “No.” Medlock said she tried to get back into the swing of things as head chef after her kid was treated, but she was given the cold shoulder.

TMZ stated that Medlock alleged that somebody on Wayne’s team texted her an ungraceful goodbye message and she was subsequently formally notified she was being let go with a message from Wayne saying, “tell Chef Morghan this isn’t going to work”.

She claims that her dismissal violated California law, which forbids terminating someone for missing work to care for an ill or injured child.

Medlock is now requesting that Wayne pay him at least $500k for the injustice.
