LFDW: DAY 2 – SAMUEL NOON

The collection opened with a black dress. The only deviation from Samuel Noon’s sunshine flood on a tempered evening inside a tent at Eko Atlantic. Samuel Noon brought a rain of brightness to the Lagos Fashion and Design Week Runway on Day 2. Easily one of the best shows of the evening, the opener of the solo showcases, made monotone anything but monotonous. An invigorating and beautiful shade of yellow flooded the runway. Yellow in a flood of midi and ankle length, curve clinging dresses with architectural styled sleeves scintillated our sights.

Minimalist hair decorated with yellow headbands were a staple on every model in the Samuel Noon show mixed in with black and yellow glasses alternated on each model. Yellow everywhere you turned. Black shoes so understated you hardly noticed them clicked on the runway… (if you had an imagination vivid enough to hear them over the sound of the music). Yellow boxy bags and pink fluffy purses brought an extra layer of allure to the catwalk. Elegenace with a strong atheletic theme was the Samuel Noon AW18 Collection concept.. thoroughly expressed in yellow.
