LFDW: DAY 2 – P.O.C

People of Colour- P.O.C  brought some intense African inspired, R&B tune to Lagos Fashion and Design Week. The sound was no doubt intended to compliment and not contrast the very urban meets traditional design direction the menswear brand brough to the table this AW18 Season.

Papa Omisore’s brainchild came out strong with a lot of attitiude blending hip hop culture with a very serious afrocentric grounding.

The Collection which consisted almost entirely of the brands signature kaftan looks was delivered on the LFDW Catwalk with a whole load of attitude and powerful energy. The collection consisted of alot of neutral and muted colours from rustic shades, military green, grew and browns to the brighter orange and multicoloured piece with a black base. There was also that patriotic look spotting the same shade of green as the Nigerian flag. Capes and sleeveless pieces formed the better part of P.O.C’s collection.
