What was classically held in an event hall with small stages and fancy people around is now organized in any open space.
If you’re talking the fashion runway this current day then you’re talking event halls, clubs, bars, street shows and even in the most busy places.
It is sometimes turned into dramatic stunts, acts and dance performance.
No doubt that this can be more fun, engaging and also gives room for a large number of locals to take part or gain some sort of experience or feel.
I personally support this new age of runway art because it creates wide range of opportunities for young ones to dream and actively watch those dreams practically done in front of them which is an avenue for encouragement, mental and emotional support to their dreams.
One of the most surprising phenomenal about fashion in this present age is the appreciation of the old days fashion style, although in a more evolved way.
We see how old fashion trends reincarnate into the present day trend, let’s take for instance “the baggie pants” which is now one of the major trends from the 80s
Talking about evolution
We have seen the evolution of modelling as a professional career in a country like Nigeria and accepting male participants, do you think there could ever be a possibility of male domination in the modelling industry?
Well, I personally do not see that happening🙂.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Basically, social media is the leader of majority of these changes.
The influence of social media in the world today is rated to 100% and the fashion industry has not slacked behind in the areas of pop culture which is where Photography plus fashion comes in and it’s a whole new world.
