Laquan Smith Fall-Winter 2023 Collection

Laquan Smith FW 2023 Collection took us by surprise as the color and texture of the materials used were impressive; high quality leather, tailored straight pants and see-though designs. The creative director, Kyle Bryan put his loyal customers at heart as he produced this amazing master piece.

For the first time, Smith’s concept began to incorporate more tailored pieces. They included remixed jackets, reworked dresses with tuxedo lapel detailing, a fitted black tuxedo with a backless jacket, and a luxurious silver double-breasted skirt suit. The brand’s distinctive updated cutout dresses, deep neck sheer tops, a reversed blazer dress, and a stunning black tinsel turtleneck dress were also worn by the LaQuan Smith model.

Although Smith is primarily a womenswear designer, masculine pieces were heavily featured this season, reflecting the stylish attributes of the Smith woman. Suiting met sexy with sheer tops, shearling jackets exhibited exaggerated proportions, tailored pants included subtle blazer side cutouts, and tailored pants were worn with button-free open-chest tops. Between a wide-lapel baby blue piece and a show-stopping giant hairy brown coat, overcoats served as the menswear highlights.
