Lagos, Nigeria-based Cute-Saint is a sustainable African modern fashion label. Through its artistry, it aims to bridge the gap between “luxury and affordability” and tell the largely disregarded African stories and narratives.
Cute-Saint takes pride in producing original, edgy designs using batiks manufactured by skilled local artists and organic textiles sourced locally.
The company values its workers, compensates them fairly for their job, looks out for them, and emphasizes the value of each person’s contribution. In addition to the distinctive design and color scheme of the textiles, cowrie shells were used in place of buttons to represent the brand’s cultural heritage.
The Heineken Lagos Fashion Week will hold from October 26th to October 30th 2022.
