Lady Gaga’s most iconic fashion choices over the last decade are going on show in Las Vegas, with an exhibition featuring around 40 pieces of clothing and accessorises from the pop star’s own personal archive.
From the iconic meat dress to her A Star Is Born character’s clothes and her Super Bowl Versace bodysuit to her Telephone cigarette sunglasses, visitors can take in all her fashion milestones from her career.
Nicola Formichetti, creative head of Haus of Gaga, said that her famed meat dress has been preserved, like a ‘piece of jerky” according to WWD.
“It’s been a dream to create all of her outfits in one place,” he explained in a preview on Wednesday.
Formichetti has collaborated on the exhibition with Gaga herself since the beginning of her career. “Every time she returns I want to keep evolving it,” he said. “We want to keep the magic of the past so fans can enjoy the moment now.”
The display is open to the public for free from 30 May until 8 November.
At the start of the month, the singer and actress made fashion headlines with her red carpet striptease for the Met Gala, in four Brandon Maxwell looks.
