KOB 2: Charly Boy To Drop ‘Odudubariba’ Musical Film

Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charlyboy, a controversial Nigerian entertainer, musician and activist, is set to premiere a brand new musical film titled ‘Odudubariba’.

The new project slated for release on September 20 is based on his applauded performance in the sequel of ‘King Of Boys’ by Kemi Adetiba.

Glam Squad Magazine recalls that in ‘King of Boys: the Return of the king’, a Netflix original series, Charly Boy played the character “Odudubariba”.

According to Charly Boy’s manager, Doris Udensi, the legendary entertainer is leading an advocacy and enlightenment campaign for a better society and has decided to go back to music, his age-long passion, to mobilise citizens for nation-building.

“His focus is to take a break from his street protest/ peaceful demonstrations and put all that energy into conscious music like never before,” the manager said.

“This musical film drops on all TV, radio stations, and YouTube will also be available on all music platforms from Sept. 20.”

“This film was directed by the legendary Akin Alabi, choreographed by the one and only Dr. Kaffy, and costumes were designed by Modela.”

“The single puts its spotlight on the position of Charly Boy as the king and pioneer of many positive changes that have taken place in the last 22 years in the entertainment space.”

“Charly Boy, The Areafada returns back like a king into the country after three months abroad of rebooting and vacationing to release his highly anticipated Odudubariba musical film.”
