Karen Igho pens open letter to ex-husband over custody of their children

Reality TV star, Karen Igho has penned an open letter to her estranged husband, Yaroslav Rakos.

Glamsquad recalls that Karen took to social media to reveal her marriage and in the process of getting a divorce.

She also noted that Yaroslav is attempting to take custody of their two sons by falsely claiming she is mental unstable.

Karen also asked the public to hold Yaroslav responsible if anything happens to her. She further revealed that she is living in a homeless shelter and launched a $500,000 Gofundme campaign to raise funds for accommodation and raise legal fees to fight for the custody of her children.

In a new development, Karen took to social media to pen a note to Yaroslav to beg for her children.

The Big Brother Africa winner stated that she is nothing without her children and asked him not to deny her access to them.

Karen specifically noted that she still loves him and believes it is possible for them to have a respectful and amicable co-parenting journey even if their union has ended.

The mother of two also urged Yaroslav to leave everything in the past, forgive her if she has offended him, and allow her access to their children.

Karen’s open note reads

Dear Jaroslav

As we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past while looking forward to the future. While our journey together has come to an end, I cherish the memories we built, the laughter we shared, and the growth we experienced alongside each other.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the moments of joy, the support we offered during challenging times, and the love that brought us together in the first place.

However, as we’ve evolved, our paths have diverged, and it’s important to acknowledge that this is the right decision for both of us to move forward with happiness and fulfillment.

Now, as we embark on separate chapters, I believe in the potential for a respectful and amicable co-parenting relationship, should that be applicable. I want to focus on the positive aspects of our future, where we can navigate this transition with grace and understanding.

With sincere wishes for your happiness and well-being.l will always love you, you are still the father of my children and I’m grateful for everything you have done for myself and our children.”

Captioning her note, she wrote

“I will always love you please let’s leave everything in the past for the sake of our children. Please don’t deny me access to our children, I’m still their mother. If I have offended you in any way please forgive me, I’m nothing with out my children.”
