The Shaderoom reports that the 2008 Nike Air Yeezy which Kanye wore for the 2008 Grammys, went on sale for over $1 million at Sotheby’s, making it the highest-priced sneaker ever to go on sale in the history of global sneaker sales. Kanye rocked the sneakers during his performance of hit singles “Hey Mama” and “Stronger.”
The Yeezy brand of sneakers brought in roughly $1.7 billion in sales in 2020 as reported by Forbes.
