JPG x Haider Ackermann designs are indeed one of a kind as the clothes showcased are remarkably gorgeous with use of flamboyant colors yet gloomy. Silk, satin, cottons were spotted.

It was exquisite: a black cut-glass tailcoat with an interwoven silken pleated bib, then another tailcoat so razor-sharp it appeared as though a white shirt had cut itself on its lines, with fragments spilling out from its cuffs and clasp.
One flawlessly perfect fitted silhouette followed another, with bustiers and evening blouses that were moulded like ceramics on the body and piercing plumes bursting out from necklines like poetry in motion. Thanks to Jean Paul Gaultier, who requested the French designer to make his fourth guest-designed haute couture show, Haider Ackermann was back.
Even though Ackermann no longer creates the namesake line that solidified his long-lasting fashion success, his relevance and impact on fashion culture were evident in the attendees. Tilda Swinton, Timothée Chalamet, Daphne Guinness, and Catherine Deneuve adorned the front row of Gaultier’s legendary runway area, which Ackermann had decorated in a beautiful Wedgwood blue.
