Nigerian artist Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, often known as Joeboy, has severed relations with Empawa Music, which is owned by Mr Eazi.

The artist has signed two contracts with Warner Music, the world’s largest record label. Joeboy will create his own record label, Young Legend, as well as become Warner Music’s latest flagship performer as part of the dual arrangement.
Joeboy shared a ritual-themed video announcing the establishment of his record label via X, captioned “Dawn of a new era.” “Young Legend is alive.”
Glamsquad recalls that Joeboy joined Empawa Music five years ago and gained prominence with the release of his hit single, ‘Baby.’
He was nominated for the Next Rated category at the 2019 Headies Awards but lost to Rema.
