JEREMY HARRIS NOW MORE THAN A PLAYWRIGHT AS HE DROPS HIS CLOTHING COLLECTION
Playwright, Jeremy O. Harris has added fashion designer to his portfolio, as the writer, activist, model, producer has recently launched his clothing collection called “SSENSE Works by Jeremy O. Harris”.
The project is influenced by artists whose personal style and work inspires Harris, artists like Adrienne Kennedy. Harris will also donate 100% of the proceeds to help playwright who are out of work.
When designing, Harris says he thinks of the clothes like costumers for a play he’s writing, while also looking through pictures of some his favorite writers like Bruce Nugent, Langston Hughes, etcetera.
