Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, have given Dolly Parton $100 million, glamsquad reports.

Parton is the most recent Bezos Courage and Civility Award recipient.
“Jeff [Bezos] and I are so proud to share that we have a new Bezos Courage and Civility Award winner — a woman who gives with her heart and leads with love and compassion in every aspect of her work,” Bezos’ longtime partner, Lauren Sanchez, said before presenting the grant to the country music legend and longtime philanthropist.
“We can’t wait to see what good you’ll do with this $100 million award, @DollyParton.”
Parton, who has donated to various charities for decades, thanked Bezos and Sanchez publicly on Twitter.
“I make an effort to put my money where my heart is.” “I will do my best to do good with this money,” Parton said on Twitter. “Thank you so much, @JeffBezos #LaurenSanchez.”
Parton donated $1 million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s vaccine research efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was partially used to fund Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine.
In an interview with BBC’s “The One Show” at the time, she stated that she felt “honored and proud.”
“I just felt so proud to be a part of that little seed money that hopefully will grow into something great and help to heal this world,” she said. “I’m a very proud girl today to know that I had any part in something that will help us get through this crazy pandemic.”
Parton founded the Dollywood Foundation in 1988, and later The Imagination Library, a program that provides books to children all over the world.

Parton established the Dolly Parton Scholarship, which provides $15,000 to recipients for a college education, as part of her philanthropic efforts in her home state of Tennessee.
