All roads led to Lekki, Lagos, last weekend, when the likes of Jaywon, Jezze Jaggz and Funny bone among a host of other acts entertained guests during the official lunch of new events centre, Glitz Occasions.
Commenting on what inspired the platform, the CEO and founder, Adetola Juyitan, a graduate of Accounting said: “Glitz Occasions is an event management platform built on the philosophy of extraordinary service to the customer. The difference between us and the others is that you don’t need to bring anything here.
You can actually attend your event as a guest. Talking about lights and sound equipment we have it all. We are positioned to take care of any event. That is what makes us unique. We take care of everything from start to finish.”
What inspired Glitz Occasions? “It was just passion. I have carried this dream for about 10 years. I was a banker for 14 years before I quit. It was my dream and I am happy it has happened today.”
So, how much did it cost to put up the [lace? “To put up it cost me a few hundreds of millions,’ Juyitan says laughing.
Meanwhile, other acts that thrilled at the event were Ceekay and Daniel D Humorous and on the wheels of steel was DJ Sky.
