She described the Grammy-winning rapper’s recognition as proof that she has “made it.”

On Friday, the mother of one revealed this on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“JCole said my pen is lit,” she wrote. So yea. “I did it, Mommy.”

A inquisitive follower retweeted her post, wondering if she would have revealed the information if it had been a Nigerian rapper who congratulated her.

“Would you tweet it if rugged man, mode9, or vector said the same thing to you?” the fan asked.

Simi said simply, “Probably not.”

Glamsquad previously reported that Burna Boy said in an interview with Rap Radar that J.Cole referred to him during a studio session as “a reincarnation of Tupac.”

On social media, his allegation attracted conflicting comments.
