Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has penned a heartfelt note to controversial social media activist, Martin Vincent Otse better known as VeryDarkMan.
In a detailed Instagram post, she expressed her sadness over gaining a deeper understanding of his behavior, attributing it to a troubled upbringing devoid of love, care, and stability. She explained that his parents’ failure to provide a nurturing environment left him with unresolved anger and pain, manifesting as toxic narcissism.
She further pointed out that instead of confronting those truly responsible, he channels his anger towards successful men and women. She urged him to recognize that his frustration is misplaced and to confront the root cause of his emotional turmoil.
Addressing his mother, she criticized her lack of initiative and reliance on her ex-husband, questioning whether she had been working before he abandoned the family. Iyabo further probed if infidelity or a flawed character might have contributed to the failed marriage.
The outspoken actress clarified that these questions stemmed from a desire to uncover the root of her son’s issues, emphasizing that his healing is crucial, especially since she doesn’t have N100 million to offer him as a solution.

Hence, your toxic narcīssistic behavior, Your parents failed to provide you with a nurturing environment, leading to unresolved anger and pain.
Instead of directing your anger toward those responsible, you’ve chosen to lash out at successful womën and men. Your anger and frustration are misplaced, and it’s time to acknowledge the root cause.
Listening to your story, you had to fend for yourself at a very young age, which resorted to stealing potatoes and chickens to survive. You almost got lynched when you tried to steal a bicycle, so you said, w, ell. “That was traumatizing as a child, but why would your mother allow that to happen?
Since you’ve mentioned our names once again, I need to ask your mother why. Mama Vincent, your lack of initiative and dependence on ur ex-husband is concerning.
Were you not working at all b4 he ran away? Was your character flawed? Did you cheat, Did he want DNA? Why didn’t you make a continuous attempt to find out whose farm ur son stole potatoes or chickens from to feed, or were you also enjoying the benefits? Why would you have kids you couldn’t raise.
Now, I wouldn’t have asked you because everyone has their stories, but your son needs to find healing!
Vincent, your mother, who failed to provide you with a stable and loving environment, left you for the streets; you knew your mother was the president, general among failed mothers. Still, you projected it on us; why? O wrong now
Anyway, I get that your life experiences have shaped you into the BEAST you are today – manipulative, rude, Connie, deceitful, and toxic narcīssistic. Constantly tarnishing reputations to gain relevance. Your parents are to blame for it o, not Paulo and Mama Festus and Priscilla.
Your obsession with Iyabo Ojo is telling me that my name lives rent-free in your head o, I don’t have 100m to remove it from your head, so please, If it helps you breathe well at night, continue.
VDM, free your heart from hate by first forgiving your parents so that you can find peace”.
It is worth noting that For over a year, Iyabo Ojo and VDM have been embroiled in a bitter feud that began with Iyabo’s involvement in the late singer Mohbad’s case. VDM had labeled the actress a failure, prompting Iyabo to retaliate with a torrent of unprintable insults, including calling his mother a shameless failure. In response, VDM escalated the conflict by accusing Iyabo of participating in a threesome with her own daughter.
Their feud reignited in June when VDM took a swipe at Iyabo, insinuating that she was snubbed from Davido’s main wedding and was only invited to the after-party like other influencers. Iyabo countered with evidence of her official invitation, sparking a fresh round of social media clashes, with both parties exchanging heated barbs.
