Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia better known as 2Baba has sent a word of encouragement to the youths of Africa.
The father of seven who has been an advocate of good governance took to his Instagram stories fifty days before the Nigerian 2023 general election to encourage the youths to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and play their part to restore the hope of the country.
The ‘E be like say’ crooner however noted that restoring hope and having good governance is a tough job.
He wrote:
I salute the youths of Africa. Nobody is coming to restore our great continent for us.
We can’t restore it from the sidelines but we can restore it from the Inside. Roll up your sleeves coz it’s a tough job.
2Baba released ‘E be like say’ as one of the tracks of his Grass 2 Grace album in 2006.
The song spells out the true attitude of Nigerian politicians in a bid to gain electorate votes.
