Veteran Nigerian singer, Friday Igweh better known as Baba Fryo has called our content creator and upcoming musician, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji better known as Nasboi over intellectual theft.
Baba Fryo voiced his frustration on social media, accusing Nasboi of exploiting his work and demanding rightful credit after the artist used his iconic “Denge Pose” lyrics in the new track, ‘Short Skirt.’
Fryo warned Nasboi to contact him immediately, or he would be forced to act.
This sparked a social media frenzy, with some fans urging artists to honour their predecessors, while others brushed it off as a desperate bid for attention.
