Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has called out her colleague and rival, Lizzy Anjorin over constant harassment and bullying on social media.
In an Instagram post, Iyabo exposed Lizzy’s troubling pattern of harassment, highlighting how the controversial actress repeatedly targets her loved ones with curses, threats, and defamatory statements amidst their ongoing court case.
Iyabo made it clear that this was her final warning, urging Lizzy to respect her boundaries, focus on her own life, and cease stalking her.
“PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
“To the General Public, Nigerian Authorities, and Government: @npf_nccc
@nigeriapoliceforce
“I am compelled to expose a disturbing pattern of harassment by Liz Anjorin. Despite our ongoing court case, she continues to target my loved ones, hurling curses, threats, and defamation at them from her social media space. I urge the authorities to take note of this announcement.
“Liz Anjorin, I’m warning you publicly for the last time: Cyberstalking is a crime, be warned ⚠️
“Cease your harassment and bullying tactics immediately. Stop targeting innocent people, including my family, friends, and colleagues. Your actions will no longer be tolerated. Your constant curses on my children and partner are unacceptable. They have never responded or engaged with you.”
“I demand that you respect boundaries, focus on your own life, and stop stalking me. The Nigerian Police and all authorities, please take note. To the general public, please be aware.”
Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin Feud
For months, Iyabo and Lizzy dominated the internet with their public feud, airing their dirty laundry for all to see. Iyabo shared a video where she humorously mimicked and mocked Lizzy, which deeply offended the latter. In retaliation, Lizzy exposed personal details about Iyabo, accusing her of promiscuity.
In response to the accusation, Iyabo threatened legal action, demanding a public apology or else Lizzy would face a N500 million lawsuit for her defamatory statements.
In March of the previous year, Iyabo filed a defamation suit against Lizzy, but Lizzy failed to attend the initial court hearing. The court later had to serve her notice by pasting it on her house gate.
By July, the judge presiding over the case stepped in as a mediator, reconciling the two actresses. Iyabo later confirmed to the press that the judge had offered motherly advice to both of them, urging them to stop the online hostility and embrace peace.
Earlier this month, during an interview with actress Biola Adebayo, Iyabo expressed her reluctance to resolve their case outside of court, despite the attempts made by intermediaries to facilitate a settlement.
Iyabo said “One of my colleagues insinuated I may have a hand in Mohbad’s death. That’s why I’m in court with her—Lizzy Anjorin. They have an intermediary trying to settle the case, but I’m not taking the settlement. This is my fight-to-finish year.”
