Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, a popular Nigerian music star, has slammed critics who believe she is living a bad life, glamsquad reports.
Some fans had previously urged the singer to start making good music and living a godly life worthy of imitation.
However, on Tuesday night, she took to Twitter to state that she was not in the music industry to uphold any belief.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I am not your Christian savior,” she wrote. I didn’t come here to defend your religious beliefs.
“I will not fit into this box you are attempting to put me in.” If I can’t satisfy you in that area, please find someone who can. “Alternatively, ask yourself why you care.”
